ASME（American Society of Mechanical Engineers）成立于1880年，现今已成为一家拥有全球超过125,000会员的国际性非赢利教育和技术组织。ASME数据库包含22种专业期刊，其中有19本被JCR收录。
2008年起，ASME推出了自己的平台（ASME Digital Library）提供其所有出版物的电子访问服务，并于2008年正式投入使用。目前，平台已可以访问所有期刊的电子资源，并免费提供邮件推送目录和RSS
